ICAIBD 2018 | 二零一八人工智能与大数据国际会议

 ICAIBD 2018 (International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Big Data) was successfully held in Chengdu Tibet Hotel on May 26 to May 28. It is jointly organized by Sichuan Province Computer Federation and Sichuan University, China. And Assisted by University of Information Technology, Southwest Jiaotong University, University of Electronic Science and Technology, and Chengdu Young Education Consulting Co., Ltd, China.  101 delegates from eight countries and regions including the United States, the United Kingdom, China, Hong Kong, Colombia, Arabia, Bangladesh and Pakistan gathered together at this meeting. 

第一届人工智能与大数据国际会议(简称ICAIBD 2018)在成都西藏饭店成功召开。会议由四川省计算机学会及四川大学计算机学院联合主办,成都信息工程大学、电子科技大学、西南交通大学和亚昂教育咨询有限公司共同协办。来自美国、英国、中国、香港、哥伦比亚、阿拉伯、孟加拉和巴基斯坦8个国家和地区的众多专家学者和研究人员齐聚一堂就“人工智能与大数据”这一主题,通过专题报告、分会场口头报告和海报展出等方式,进行了深入地交流与研讨

The conference was opened by Chinese famous academician, Dr. Zhang Jingzhong on May 27 morning, and then Dr. Liu Jin, Vice President of Sichuan Science and Technology Association, China; Dr. Dr. Wang Xiaoyu, executive director of Sichuan Province Computer Society and Prof. Zhou Jiliu, President of Chengdu University of Information Technology delivered openning remarks.

The keynote speech session started with Prof. WANG Jun (Fellow of IEEE & IAPR) from City University of Hong Kong, who talked about Collaborative Neurodynamic Optimization: Biologically and Socially Plausible Approaches to Distributed, Global and Multiple‐objective Optimization.  Next, Prof. Tang Huajin from Sichuan University, China  shared with us Neuromorphic Computing A Leaning and Memory Centered Approach. The final keynote speech was given by Prof. Yao Liang from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, United States, and his topic is Big Data Acquisition via Wireless Sensor Networks.

开幕式上,本届会议大会名誉主席、中国科学院院士、著名数学家张景中教授宣布第一届人工智能与大数据国际会议开幕,四川省科协副主席刘进教授,四川省计算机学会执行理事长、中国科学院成都计算机应用研究所所长王晓宇教授,成都信息工程大学校长周激流教授分别作大会致辞,对国内外前来出席会议的专家学者表示热烈欢迎,并对人工智能与大数据的未来发展表达了美好期许。IEEE Fellow, 香港城市大学王钧教授、四川大学的唐华锦教授和美国印第安纳大学-普渡大学印第安纳波利斯联合分校梁耀教授分别做了精彩的专题学术报告,扎实的学科知识与严谨的学术作风感染着在座的每位聆听者,引发现场的阵阵掌声。

ICAIBD 2018 received 104 paper submissions in total, from which we have selected 55 excellent research papers included in the proceedings. The conference  papers were divided into 5 parallel oral presentation sessions (4 oral presentation sessions and 1 poster session), and 4 best presentation winners were selected. The delegates conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions from the 4 main topics, including Data  Engineering  and  Intelligent Computing,  Neural  Network  and  Machine  Learning,  Image  processing  and  application,  and  Computer Science and Information Technology.
